With the car in the background, a child in the foreground wearing a black Balilla uniform and fez is about to throw a stone, reproducing the gesture of the eighteenth-century Genoese patriot Giovan Battista Perasso (1735 - 1781) whose nickname inspired both the utility car and the fascist youth organization to which he belonged.
