caption: Gino Lucetti (1900 - 1943) anarchical Italian, to 18 years attempted to the life of Mussolini, launch an hand grenade against the automobile on which he travelled the duce. The bomb bounced on the car and exploded to earth hurting eight passing. Lucetti immediately was arrested, and in surveyings the police in vain looked for the tests of a conspiracy, arrested the mother, the brother and the sister of Lucetti, old carraresi friends and also who had lodged with he in hotel. Lucetti after the arrest in commissariat declared: “They have not come with a bunch of flowers for Mussolini. But I was disposed to serve to me also of the handgun in case you had not obtained my scope with the bomb”
